THE INFLUENCE OF THE APPLICATION OF THE THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL ON STUDENTS' REASONING ABILITY AND MATHEMATICAL ABSTRACT ABILITY

This study aims to determine how the effect applying think pair share learning method has on reasoning and mathematical abstraction abilities of class X students SMA Negeri 9 Makassar. used a quantitative approach with type experimental research using quasi-experimental design non-equivalent control group design. The population in this were all 290 SMAN sample was an 36 people people. instrument test measure form pretest posttest. data analysis technique is descriptive statistical inferential analysis, namely multivariate variance (manova) test. results indicate that: (1) average students' increased.
